Marsh Standard Septic Tanks – The Older Style Septic Tanks, Offering Limited Final Effluent Treatment.

This range is the same as other manufacturers septic tanks it offers lower levels of treatment to the other two product ranges, Five Filter and Green Filter. This tank without the Polylok Filter doesn’t offer the protection of stopping solids flowing into the percola-tion bed. It will have higher levels of BOD & Suspended Solids.

The Photographs shows the Marsh products being Tested to EN12566-1 at the TUV –Sud Test House & At Our In house Test Rig.

Green Filter™ Testing & Certification

Green Filter Polylok© Septic Tanks are designed to produce a higher final effluent quality to normal standard septic tanks. Green Filter Septic Tanks have the patented Polylok Filter fitted as standard.

By fitting this filter the Suspended Solids are reduced by up to 70% in the final effluent. This means there is a reduced probability of the land drain blocking preventing flooding and raw sewage floating to the surface.

The filter also produces a reduction in BOD this reduces smell and odours in the treated effluent. Units have been extensively tested to The EN12566-1:2005, the Pan European Standard. Marsh holds the certification for its entire range of Green Filter Tanks.

The units are available in 2800L,3800L,4500L & 6000L

All Five Filter Intelligent Septic Tanks are designed to meet a minimum effluent quality of BOD 20mg and TSS 30 mg/litre the units have been tested to this standard and hold EN12566-1:2005 certification:

The chamber is split where an amount of heavy solids are retained in one part, with the effluent and suspended solids liquid moving into the second section of the tank through a baffle.
